Night garden…

We are sure you often hear that or read that, but we are also sure that some of you may not really understand what a night garden is. A night garden is a garden which of course contains various plants but is more focused on the view at night. Of course, they can also be enjoyed during the day but they are designed to be “shinier at night.” They are gardens with romantic tendencies.

Why Night Gardens? What’s the Goal?

Of course, to be enjoyed at night and for many houses with a lot of empty land, building a night garden is a solution to beautify the house at night. Combined with the right lighting (and moonlight if possible), a wonderland feel can be created almost every day. Some mental health experts recommend night parks for their patients. What this means is that if possible they would be better off building their own night garden and enjoying it as part of their therapy. There are also several studies that indicate that looking at the park at night increases mental calm.

So we can conclude that there are at least two purposes why someone needs to build their own night garden; beauty and peace of mind.

What About When It Comes Time to Build Your Night Garden?

Can you randomly place a variety of plants in your night garden? Or do you need to place them according to certain criteria? We believe that planting according to certain criteria is better. With the help of a bed weed control expert, everything will be perfect. In general, the most suitable plants for a night garden are flowers with white or light colors when they bloom. If possible, combine it with plants with silvery stems as they can emit light at night. Very suitable for outdoor gardens at night! There are many choices of course, for example, White Roses, Moonflowers, Lilies, Solomon Seals, and other glow-in-the-night flowers.

What About Aromatherapy?

Yes, night gardens can also emit what can be called aroma therapy. In the stillness of the night, inhaling the scent of flowers can be very pleasant. It allows your sense of smell to increase. However, choosing scented flowers should not be done carelessly. For night gardens, Lilies, Wisteria, Tuberose, and Moonflowers are popular options. Try to place flowers with a strong scent around your bedroom window so you can enjoy them all night long.

After all, the design of a night garden is defined by a series of elements, which give it its own personality. Lighting, of course, is basic to make an installation of this type viable. Currently, there are numerous lighting systems that allow us to achieve many effects, taking into account the space and the vegetation to be illuminated.

There are also decoration elements on the market such as water mirrors, which will help us reflect light, and in this way create a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. Other elements that we cannot miss are pergolas and frameworks, which will help climbing plants grow.
