  •     Scan source code to find vulnerabilities.
  •     Use Source Composition Analysis (SCA) to identify security weaknesses in third-party code or libraries.
  •     Perform security assessments on new application builds before releasing them.
  •     Continuously monitor and test security after deployment, including inspecting infrastructure and identity access management policies.
  1. Implement Multilayered Security Defenses in Cloud Infrastructure: Enhance security by implementing protective measures at every layer of your cloud architecture. AWS takes care of the physical infrastructure and ensures data encryption. Your responsibilities include:
  •     Applying granular security rules to protect your apps.
  •     Regularly scanning and patching your code, dependencies, and infrastructure.

  •    Determine compliance rules for your workload.
  •    Stay updated on security threats and best practices.
  •    Promote shared capabilities and components, reducing work load specific security investments.
  1. Document Incident Response Plan: Have a comprehensive incident response plan in place to guide actions when a security event occurs. Regularly assess and adjust the response process to improve its effectiveness. Preparing and simulating event scenarios helps identify gaps and enhances incident handling capabilities. Standardizing the incident management process across your organization improves response efficiency and consistency.
